From December 19 to 22, 2024, the Domaine du Château de Leignon immersed its visitors in the magical spirit of Christmas during its very first Christmas Market. Four enchanting days brought together food lovers, families, and craft enthusiasts in a unique and warm setting.
An Unforgettable Sensory Experience
The Gourmet Market delighted visitors’ taste buds with a refined selection of products: champagne, fresh oysters, fine charcuterie, and the famous Leignon beer were met with immense success. The major highlight of this edition was the introduction of the first creations from the Chocolaterie du Château de Leignon, showcased in a charming chalet that attracted both young and old lovers of sweet treats.
Celebrating Walloon Craftsmanship
The Creators’ Market was the centerpiece of the event, shining a spotlight on the talent and passion of local artisans. Visitors had the chance to explore a wide array of original creations:
• Unique handmade jewelry and Christmas decorations;
• Scented candles, glass and ceramic candleholders, and designer lamps;
• Paintings, figurines, totems, and other art objects;
• Natural soaps, exclusive perfumes, and elegant household linens;
• Not to mention handcrafted plush toys, creative patchworks, and local honey.
Visitors had the opportunity to do their Christmas shopping while supporting Walloon craftsmanship. The carefully selected exhibitors were delighted to share their expertise and creations with the public.
