On Thursday, December 12, 2024, the Brasserie du Château de Leignon had the honor of welcoming Eric Boschman, sommelier and artist, for his show “Ça Va Saigner”. This cultural and culinary event captivated the audience, immersed in the warm and authentic setting of our brewery.

A Unique Ambiance at the Heart of the Brewery

Nestled within the Domaine du Château de Leignon, our brasserie combines rustic charm with modern comfort. With its exposed beams, gleaming vats, and soft lighting, the space creates an intimate and welcoming atmosphere. Visitors had the opportunity to discover this cozy haven while savoring our craft beers.

“Ça Va Saigner”: A Bittersweet Take on Our Eating Habits

With “Ça Va Saigner”, Eric Boschman takes us far off the beaten path. Gone are the tales of beverages that made him famous; instead, he offers a striking reflection on food and our daily contradictions. From organic Spanish tomatoes with questionable production methods to nutriscore A products, and Moroccan blueberries in the middle of winter, the artist highlights these inconsistencies with biting irony.

But “Ça Va Saigner” is not merely a societal critique. The show is also interspersed with family tenderness and personal musings, offering a touch of humanity that contrasts with the sharp truths it reveals.

An Evening Full of Emotion

Throughout the performance, Eric Boschman skillfully plays with the words and woes of our time. Without veering into activism or preaching, he invites everyone to look at their plate, their choices, and their contradictions in a new light.
