At the Auberge du Château de Leignon, we are fully aware of the environmental impact of our business. For us, it's nature that guides us, and we're at her service, not the other way around.
We are committed to reducing our carbon footprint by adopting
a sustainable approach at every stage of our business.
Here is how :
Short supply chain: We give priority to local, seasonal products, sourcing directly from local artisans and producers.
Sustainable self-sufficiency: Our growing vegetable garden enables us to be increasingly independent by growing our own fruit, vegetables and herbs. We also use local products for the needs of the inn, such as the handmade soaps in our rooms.
Zero waste: We reuse every resource as much as possible. Vegetable peelings are transformed into teas, herbal teas, chips or vinegars, and fermentation helps us preserve food for longer.
Recycling: We integrate recycling into all our practices, reducing, reusing and recycling wherever possible.
Seasonal cuisine: Our menus follow the rhythm of the seasons, respecting nature and offering dishes prepared with fresh, local ingredients.
